Elizabeth Nunez

PsyD Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Nunez is an interpersonal, developmentally-based, trauma-informed clinician who provides therapy and psychological evaluation for children (5+), teens, and adults. She utilizes interventions from psychodynamic, person-centered, and CBT frameworks to find an approach that best fits each individual. She believes the best therapy happens when clients feel safe enough to give honest feedback about their experience in therapy and prioritizes checking in each session. Her experience includes working with adults in crisis, with severe and persistent mental illness, those struggling with substance use, and college students. She has worked with children, adolescents, and families in community mental health and residential settings. Dr. Nunez completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Community Services Institute in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Nunez worked at NW ADHD as a skills trainer from 2015-2018. After receiving her master’s (MA) and doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at George Fox University, she returns to provide therapy and assessment services as a psychologist resident. Dr. Nunez is passionate about alleviating suffering in the world one person at a time through genuine connection, honesty, kindness, and action. She specializes in the treatment of trauma and ADHD and is trained in EMDR for both kids and adults. In her free time, Dr. Nunez likes to explore the nature of the PNW with her husband while he documents the beauty through drone work and photography. She loves to play Just Dance, go for long walks (on the beach and otherwise!), and watch dystopian sci-fi.
