Ava Hosseini

​Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Ava is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, holding a Master of Nursing degree from the University of California, San Francisco. Prior to joining Northwest ADHD, she specialized in treating treatment-resistant depression through transcranial magnetic stimulation. Ava’s expertise encompasses ADHD, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and trauma. Her care philosophy is holistic, centering a person’s values and strengths. Drawing from her background in public health and serving people experiencing homelessness, she approaches her practice from an equity and trauma-informed lens. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking for friends, and connecting with nature through camping, swimming, and foraging.
